Rhondda first encountered yoga while completing her BA in dance at York University, and continues to make both asana and movement part of her practice. Yoga led her to the Dharma and meditation, and together they are an essential foundation in her life today as a family person and professional.
Rhondda has maintained a regular asana practice since 1999, in the Ashtanga, Jivamukti, Tibetan Heart Yoga and Lady Niguma’s Yoga traditions. Since 2006, she has had a daily meditation practice, and continues formal studies in the lineage of the Dalai Lamas. In 2010, she discovered Gabrielle Roth’s 5Rhythms, a meditative dance practice for sweating your prayers.
She completed her 250 hour Evolving Spirit Yoga Teacher Training certification at The Yoga Sanctuary in Toronto. She has also completed certification from The Yoga Sanctuary to teach Pre & Post Natal Yoga.
Rhondda teaches yoga, meditation and Dharma across the GTA, and also regularly produces meditation, Dharma and yoga events with visiting teachers.
